项目概况

    本项目位于北海市铁山港临海工业区内，铁山港附近海域石英砂储量十分丰富，且二氧化硅含量高达98％—98.5%，是制造光学玻璃、光导纤维、高级玻璃器皿和铸造件的优质原料。项目所在的工业园区有北海火电厂和铁山港供水工程，供水、供电有保障，厂区有深水良港、高等级公路和拟建中的铁路作依托，海陆运输十分便利。项目交通便利，同时符合铁山港工业发展的要求。

    本项目规划分三期建设浮法玻璃生产线10条(其中一期2条，二期3条，三期5条)，建成后年加工浮法玻璃180万吨；并建设光导纤维、高级玻璃器皿深加工生产线，形成南方最大的玻璃产业化生产基地。

    Glass Mass Production

    Project Description

    The project is located in Offshore Industrial Zone of Tieshan’gang District. The District is rich in quartz sand. The SiO2 content averages 98-99.5 percent, which is the most useful raw material for the production of special glass, light-guide fiber, glass container, etc. Beihai Power Plant and Water Supply Project of Tieshan’gang are set up in the Zone. Water, power and quartz sand supplies are available. Under the background of deep water ports, high-grade roads and railway to be built, sea and land transportation are convenient. All conditions conform to the requirements of development of Tieshan’gang.

    10 production lines will be built in three stages, namely, 2 lines in phase 1, 3 lines in phase 2 and 5 in phase 3. 1,800,000-tons of float glass will be produced annually. Other production lines for processing light-guide fiber and glass containers will be built. A biggest glass-processing base will take shape in the southern part of China.
